With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Salman Bangash is a U.S. board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. His extensive training and leadership roles in both the United States and Pakistan give him a unique perspective in managing complex and critically ill patients. As Director of ICUs, Emergency Medicine, Infection Prevention, and Antimicrobial Stewardship at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, he leads multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care. His work focuses on protocol development, patient safety, and improving outcomes in high-acuity settings. Dr. Bangash is also US trained in ECMO and Critical care ultrasonography and is working on establishing these in Pakistan
